Partnering Strategy

7TM Pharma is focused on developing its lead clinical assets with a primary therapeutic focus on obesity, related metabolic diseases and gastrointestinal diseases. We actively seek licensing partners during early clinical development to establish collaborations moving our lead compounds forward expediently. 

We have chosen metabolic diseases as our primary therapeutic focus and develop selected programs up to proof of concept in man (Phase II). We actively seek collaborative partners to jointly develop our assets expediently forward with pharmaceutical companies having an established franchise in the relevant therapeutic area. 7TM Pharma will opportunistically pursue programs in other therapeutic indications (e.g. gastrointestinal diseases or inflammation), and will seek to partner these during late discovery or early pre-clinical development with partners having the specific therapeutic expertise and development/commercialization resources.

A balanced risk profile is achieved by working on both small molecule programs as well as selected peptide programs, depending on the nature of the drug target, its validation and chemical tractability, as well as the therapeutic indication in question.
