Christian E. Elling, PhD
Vice President, Biology & Development
Dr Elling is a co-founder of 7TM Pharma and serves as VP, Biology and Development. His responsibility includes discovery biology, pre-clinical and clinical development including CMC/pharmaceutical sciences.
Dr Elling received his early training in Biochemistry, and received his PhD from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His early research interests included the molecular mechanism of action of 7TM receptors, particularly how receptors may be turned on or off at the molecular level, where he contributed with significant papers to the field.
His current research and therapeutic interests include obesity and related co-morbidities, targets for use in the obesity space and GI-tract hormones. He serves on the Board of Directors of Inagen and on the steering committee for Biologue-Danish Pharma Consortium for The Danish Association of Biotechnology Industries.
