History

7TM Pharma was founded in 2000 as a spinout from the University of Copenhagen by internationally recognized pioneers in 7TM receptor research, Professor Thue W. Schwartz, Chief Scientific Officer, and Dr. Christian E. Elling, Director of Molecular Pharmacology and Development, along with an industry experienced management, including Mette Kirstine Agger, former Director of Business Development and Licensing at NeuroSearch A/S.

Today, the company has about 50 employees, based in modern facilities north of Copenhagen. The 7TM Pharma team has extensive and hands-on experience in all aspects of drug discovery, global drug development, business development/licensing and biotech/pharma collaborations.
