Jack T. Johansen is senior advisor to numerous companies and venture funds, is acting CEO of Protein Forest and serves on a number of boards of Biotech companies. He has had a long carrier in the Biotech industry, lately as CEO, President and Founder of Boston Probes, Inc. which was sold to Applied Bioscience. Prior to this, Jack Johansen served as Executive Vice President of science and technology at Millipore Corporation and President of Millicorp, Millipore’s venture fund. He worked in research for many years at Carlsberg Laboratory, DK, and established Carlsberg Biotechnology to exploit inventions and technologies. He was also named Director of Peptide Technology, a subsidiary of Carlsberg Biotechnology in Australia. Jack Johansen holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Copenhagen and was a postdoctoral student at Harvard Medical School.
